Disputes & Estate Litigation

In the administration of trusts and estates, disputes may arise over distributions, investments, fees, fiduciary duties, the interpretation of provisions, the division of particular property, the elective share and myriad other matters. We work with families and fiduciaries to resolve such disputes expeditiously and without costly, prolonged litigation. When litigation is unavoidable, however, we work closely with lawyers outside our firm whose practices are limited to estate litigation and who are best equipped to handle such matters effectively and efficiently.

We have represented clients in various proceedings before the Surrogate's Court, including, but not limited to, will contests, elective share actions, fiduciary actions, contested accountings and guardianship proceedings.
